Whatever Stage You Are At
Something is not working. Recurring faults or false alarms that interrupt lessons and that nobody seems able to clear for good.
An assessor or insurer has given you actions. You need the work done properly and the paperwork to evidence it.
You are planning ahead. Next summer’s programme, a condition survey, or a funding bid that needs a costed specification behind it.
You are not happy with your current provider. A different engineer every visit, thin service reports, and nobody who explains what they have done.
All four are good reasons to talk to us, and most of our school work starts with one of them.
Work Scheduled Around the School Year
That is how we plan every school project. Surveyed in term time, delivered in the breaks, handed back before the children come back.

Planning Ahead for Next Summer
We can survey what you have and give you a written view of its condition and remaining life, a costed specification you can take to governors or use to support a funding bid, and an honest answer on which holiday the work realistically fits into. Schools that plan this way get the job done in a summer break instead of as an emergency in November.
Autumn is a good time to talk if budgets are being set. Winter if you are preparing a bid. Spring if you want the work done next summer.
Already Have a Provider?
Changing supplier is more straightforward than people expect. We survey the site first and tell you plainly what condition the systems are in, so nothing lands on you later as a surprise. We work to your existing contract end date so there is no gap in cover. And if your panel is a closed protocol type that only certain companies are able to service, we will tell you that at the survey rather than after you have signed.

Lockdown, Safeguarding and Who Comes on Site
Safeguarding also covers who you let through the gate. Our engineers sign in, carry identification and work to your site rules. If you need DBS details for the engineers attending, ask and we will confirm them before the visit.
Compliance You Can Evidence, One School or a Whole Trust
For a multi academy trust, a different alarm company at every school means inconsistent standards, inconsistent paperwork and nobody accountable for the estate as a whole. We work across whole trusts. One survey programme, one specification approach, one number to call, and reporting a central estates team can actually use. Systems are specified with spare capacity, so a school that extends or remodels later does not have to start again.

Book a Free Site Survey, or Just Start the Conversation
If something needs putting right now, book a free site survey. An engineer visits at a time that suits the school, assesses what you have, and gives you a clear written picture of what needs doing, what it will cost and which holiday it fits into.
If you are planning rather than reacting, you do not need a survey yet. Call and tell us what you are thinking about and roughly when, and we will tell you what is realistic. No obligation either way and no hard sell.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you really replace a system in one half term?
For most single schools, yes, provided the survey and design work is done in advance. Larger or multi building sites are phased across consecutive breaks. We tell you which of those yours is at the survey, not halfway through the job.
What standard should a school fire alarm meet?
Fire detection and alarm systems in schools should be designed to BS 5839 Pt1, with the category of coverage determined by the fire risk assessment. We design to the risk assessment and document the category so it can be evidenced later.
Can you take over servicing from our current provider?
Yes. We survey each site first and report on condition, then bring the school or the whole trust under one maintenance contract with consistent records. We work to your existing contract end date so there is no gap in cover.
Do you install lockdown alarm systems?
Yes, including lockdown integrated with the fire system and given a distinct sitewide tone, so it cannot be mistaken for a fire evacuation signal.
We are not ready to buy yet. Is it worth talking?
Yes. A lot of our school work starts a year or more ahead. Tell us what you are considering and roughly when, and we can give you a view on condition, an indication of cost and a realistic window for doing the work. There is no obligation and no cost.
